The use of drag-queen imagery depicting religious and historical figures during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympics in Paris has sparked a controversial and heated response.

One notable performance featured a headless portrayal of Marie Antoinette, the final queen before her execution in the French Revolution. She was depicted wearing drag-style makeup and holding her severed head.
There are no words to describe how repugnant parts of the Opening Ceremony in Paris were.
Mocking the summary execution of Queen Marie Antoinette, however, crossed every line. Today, as in 1793, the Paris junta revels in violence and gratuitous cruelty.pic.twitter.com/DH1fF60wcs

Additionally, a recent exhibition featured a troupe of entertainers, including drag queens and a plus-size woman wearing an aureole halo crown, satirizing “The Last Supper,” a famous painting by the Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci that depicts Christ and his disciples.
NEW: The Paris Olympics is under fire for including a *child* in their hyper-s*xualized, blasphemous rendition of The Last Supper.
An apparent child could be seen joining the drag queens during the performance.

Criticism of the ceremony came from prominent political figures around the world, especially those in American politics, who denounced the portrayal as a symbol of the decline in Western Civilization.
it's a toxic blend of cultural Marxism, "body positivity", and blasphemy.

“Men in wigs front & center at the Olympic Games,” shared OutKick’s Riley Gaines on social media. “No one ever tell me this group is ‘oppressed’ or ‘marginalized’ again.”
Elon Musk, the innovative mind behind Tesla and the X platform, criticized the exhibit, describing it as “highly disrespectful to Christians.”

NFL football player Harrison Butker, renowned for his outspokenness about his Catholic faith, quoted scripture to censure the spectacle, citing, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting.’ Galatians 6:7-8.”
“Be not deceived, God is not mocked. For what things a man shall sow, those also shall he reap. For he that soweth in his flesh, of the flesh also shall reap corruption. But he that soweth in the spirit, of the spirit shall reap life everlasting.”

Equally appalled, ex-transgender influencer Oli London described the scene, asserting, “Olympics openly mocks Jesus’ Last Supper as drag queens dressed as women play the role of disciples while a plus-size woman appears in the middle symbolising Jesus wearing a giant crown.”
It took me about 2 scrolls through my TL to boycott the Olympics
Fuck the woke culture and anyone who tries to normalize this filth pic.twitter.com/mE6DEMPVO5
