Supreme Court Blocks Harris-Biden Regime’s Student Loan Debt Cancellation

Once again within a year, the Supreme Court has rejected Kamala and Joe’s attempt to utilize taxpayer funds to eliminate student loan debt without the approval of Congress.

The Harris-Biden administration endeavored to resurrect its strategy of canceling student loan debt as part of an urgent appeal to the Supreme Court, despite the court having previously invalidated the plan.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court declined the request to remove the nationwide injunction and deferred to the appeals court for a final decision.

“The application to vacate injunction presented to Justice Kavanaugh and by him referred to the Court is DENIED,” the order said.

NBC News reported:

The Supreme Court on Wednesday rebuffed a Biden administration plea seeking to revive the latest plan to tackle federal student loan debt.

The court in a brief order denied an emergency request filed by the administration seeking to lift a nationwide injunction imposed by an appeals court. There were no noted dissents.

The order said the appeals court that is currently handling the case should “render its decision with appropriate dispatch.”

The Education Department issued a regulation finalizing its Saving on a Valuable Education, or SAVE, plan in July 2023, the month after the Supreme Court ruled the administration lacked authority to implement President Joe Biden’s earlier loan forgiveness program.

Biden has employed a series of tactics to bypass the Supreme Court’s ruling against his student loan forgiveness program.

Following the court’s 6-3 decision last year, the Department of Education introduced a workaround forbearance initiative that effectively erased $39 billion in student loans by treating non-payments as legitimate payments for a certain period.

This unconventional forbearance program does not require borrowers to repay missed payments or make up for reduced payments, and it also does not accumulate interest on any unpaid amounts.

In addition to this, Biden unilaterally eliminated an additional $5 billion in student loan debt for 74,000 borrowers as part of a recent political ploy.

Furthermore, he revealed plans to forgive loans for individuals who borrowed less than $12,000 and have been in repayment for a decade.
