Donald Trump has issued a warning that if he wins the presidency, Mark Zuckerberg and any other individuals who illegally interfere in the election will face a life sentence in jail.
This statement is featured in Trump’s upcoming book, Save America, set to be released next week.
Trump specifically mentions that the founder of Facebook, Zuckerberg, would be imprisoned for the remainder of his life if proven guilty of meddling.
He also highlights Facebook’s significant role in censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the 2020 election, citing false allegations that it was a ‘Russian disinformation’ campaign despite its factual accuracy.
“Former President Donald Trump railed against Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg in his upcoming book, accusing the tech tycoon of undermining him in the last election and warning of possible jail time.

According to some observers, the suppression of this story, as well as many others, may have had an impact on the election result.
In his book, Trump mentions that he is keeping a close eye on Zuckerberg in the lead-up to the November election.
While he was in office, Trump said that Zuckerberg would visit him and “bring his very nice wife to dinners, be as nice as anyone could be,” but was secretly mounting a “plot against the President”.
“He told me there was nobody like Trump on Facebook. But at the same time, and for whatever reason, steered it against me,” writes Trump.
“We are watching him closely, and if he does anything illegal this time he will spend the rest of his life in prison – as will others who cheat in the 2024 presidential election.”
Trump’s Facebook account was suspended following the January 6 riot, despite his call for protesters to stay peaceful and leave. He was only allowed back on the platform at the beginning of this year.
As previously noted, Zuckerberg made a shocking admission that the Biden administration pushed Facebook to censor COVID-19 content and the Hunter Biden laptop story, a decision he regrets.
“I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it. I also think we made some choices that, with the benefit of hindsight and new information, we wouldn’t make today,” wrote Zuckerberg in a letter to the House of Representatives’ Judiciary Committee.
