This is the stark reality under the Biden-Harris administration: the southern border remains wide open, despite efforts by the media to downplay or distract from the issue. But the facts are clear, and it’s important to remind everyone of what’s happening.
In Texas, Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers recently encountered eight “special interest” illegal immigrants near the rural Normandy area of the border.
These individuals, some from Turkey, admitted to paying $12,000 each to cross the Rio Grande into the United States. They described how they secured “sponsors” within the U.S. to assist them after crossing the border.
One individual, when asked what a sponsor does, explained, “They take care of our expenses and everything while we are in there legally.”
In a video shared by Texas DPS spokesman Lt. Chris Olivarez, one of the immigrants who spoke English detailed how they paid the money to cross from Mexico and arranged for a sponsor in New Jersey through a network.
The video underscores the ongoing issue of illegal immigration and the organized systems facilitating these crossings.

Texas DPS has been on the front lines of border security, working tirelessly to protect the state and, by extension, the country.
Earlier this week, DPS officers made another significant discovery: 16 illegal immigrants were found hidden inside a trailer with a false wall designed to conceal them.
The incident occurred in Kenedy County when a DPS trooper stopped a Ford F-250 towing a cargo trailer. Upon conducting a search, the trooper discovered the hidden compartment and the group of illegal immigrants inside.

This incident highlights a broader problem—the failure of the Biden-Harris administration to enforce border security.
Since taking office, they have ignored their constitutional duty outlined in Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution, which mandates that the federal government protect each state from invasion and domestic violence.
The Constitution clearly states: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion.”
Instead of fulfilling this responsibility, the administration has kept the border open, allowing an estimated 15 million illegal immigrants to enter the country since January 2021.
This surge has overwhelmed border security efforts and raised significant concerns about public safety and national security.
The actions of the Biden-Harris administration have led to a disregard for the Constitution and have placed a heavy burden on states like Texas, where local law enforcement is working overtime to fill the gap left by federal inaction.
As Texas DPS continues to intercept groups of illegal immigrants and uncover trafficking schemes, it becomes increasingly clear that the current administration’s border policies are failing to protect the country.
While the media may try to shift focus or minimize these stories, the facts on the ground paint a different picture.
The southern border remains a critical issue, and the impact of the Biden-Harris administration’s policies is being felt across the nation.
