DOGE Shock: Illegal Aliens on Terror List Received Benefits and Voted

A recent report from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has highlighted a significant issue regarding migrants paroled into the United States under Joe Biden’s administration. The report reveals that thousands of these individuals, including some flagged on the federal Terrorist Watch List, have been granted taxpayer-funded benefits. These benefits include Medicaid, unemployment compensation, and tax refunds, sparking a wave of concern and criticism.

DOGE’s findings show that about 6,300 migrants were released into the U.S. without formal immigration status. These individuals were given work permits and Social Security numbers, despite being flagged on watch lists or having criminal records. The situation has raised alarms about national security and the misuse of taxpayer resources.

Elon Musk described this financial situation as ‘terrifying,’ pointing to the broader implications of such oversight. According to the report, 905 migrants, including four on the Terrorist Watch List, received Medicaid benefits amounting to approximately $276,000. Additionally, 41 of these parolees collected $42,000 in unemployment benefits.

The report also mentions that 22 of these migrants received federal tax refunds totaling $751,000 in 2024. While the report did not disclose the exact amounts, it noted that several others benefited from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). This has led to questions about the integrity of the welfare system under the Biden administration.

Critics have pointed out that during Biden’s presidency, it became common for Border Patrol to admit aliens into the U.S. with minimal screening. A subset of 6,300 individuals paroled into the country since 2023 was identified on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database. This lax approach has been a focal point of criticism from conservative circles.

The Biden-era parole system has faced increased scrutiny for facilitating access to welfare programs for individuals who might otherwise be disqualified due to security concerns. President Donald Trump’s administration has reacted by revoking parole for all 6,300 individuals identified in the DOGE report. This decision aims to prioritize these individuals for deportation, restoring order and security.

Senator Eric Schmitt expressed his concerns, stating, “This MS-13 gang member is deportable—and he will be. The Biden admin abused parole, flew in 6,300 flagged on a terror watchlist, and gave them benefits. Trump is restoring order. Mass deportations must continue.” His statements underline the urgency of addressing this issue.

Antonio Gracias, a DOGE official, emphasized that the problem extends beyond welfare abuse. He revealed that many paroled migrants were also registered to vote in multiple states, which raises significant election integrity concerns. “We looked at voter rolls and we found that thousands are registered to vote in friendly states,” he said.

Gracias’s findings showed that many of these individuals had actually voted, a revelation that he described as shocking. “If I hadn’t seen this with my own eyes, I wouldn’t believe it … it is shockingly bad,” he remarked, highlighting the gravity of the situation.

Further investigation by DOGE revealed that a staggering 1.3 million migrants are currently accessing Medicaid, funded by American taxpayers. The agency has not disclosed the specific states involved, referring to them only as “friendly” jurisdictions. These states are believed to have cooperated with or enabled expanded access to benefits for non-citizens.

The Trump administration has taken steps to address these security and immigration enforcement concerns. Additional oversight measures are being implemented to ensure that taxpayer-funded benefits are strictly reserved for eligible citizens and legal residents. The Department of Homeland Security is expected to provide further guidance in the coming weeks.

The ongoing investigation by DOGE has been referred to federal law enforcement for potential criminal prosecution and fraud recovery. This highlights the Trump administration’s commitment to rectifying the misuse of federal resources and maintaining national security. The situation continues to evolve as more details emerge.

As this issue unfolds, it underscores the broader debate about immigration policies and their impact on national security. Conservative voices have been vocal in their criticism of the current administration’s approach to immigration and welfare distribution. The report serves as a rallying point for those advocating for stricter immigration control and welfare eligibility verification.

This situation also raises questions about the efficiency and oversight of federal programs. With significant taxpayer resources at stake, there is a pressing need for reforms to prevent further misuse. The revelations have added fuel to the ongoing debate about immigration and the responsibility of the government to protect its citizens.

In light of these findings, there is a renewed call for accountability and transparency in how government resources are allocated. The Trump administration’s actions demonstrate a commitment to addressing these issues head-on. As the investigation continues, it remains to be seen how these challenges will be resolved.
