Federal indictments unsealed in Tennessee name twelve people accused of a cargo theft conspiracy tied to Nike product, alleging at least $2 million in losses and a multi-year scheme that moved stolen goods across state lines.
Twelve defendants have been federally indicted in the Western District of Tennessee in a case centered on alleged cargo theft from Nike’s North American Logistics Center in Memphis. The unsealed indictments follow a multi-year probe and were announced by United States Attorney D. Michael Dunavant.
The investigation was led by the FBI’s Cargo Theft Task Force with support from multiple field offices. Authorities say the scheme stretched from July 2021 until about June 19, 2024 and involved the interstate movement of merchandise taken from the warehouse.
The indictment names the following individuals:

- Jorge Cuellar, 30, of Los Angeles, CA
- Keith Cannon, 40, of Memphis, TN
- Cadarian Mack, 35, of Memphis, TN
- Julian Baker, 36, of Memphis, TN
- Cortez Spencer, 39, of Memphis, TN
- Roderico McClellan, 33, of Memphis, TN
- Damon Johnson, 30, of Memphis, TN
- Joel Deluna, 42, of Chicago, IL
- Michael Perkins, 40, of Olive Branch, MS
- Marquesio Robinson, 47, of Charlestown, IN
According to the court filings, the alleged operation involved identifying merchandise inside the Nike warehouse, placing shipping labels that redirected product to predetermined pick-up points, and then retrieving and reselling the goods. Investigators say the co-defendants moved at least $2 million worth of product through that method.
A grand jury returned the indictment on May 21, 2026, charging all twelve with conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property and charging one defendant with interstate transportation of stolen property. The matter is assigned to United States District Judge Thomas L. Parker.

In order to protect the critical economic and logistics infrastructure of Memphis, we will always aggressively prosecute those who threaten it.”
The FBI Nashville Field Office led the investigative work with assistance from the Chicago and Los Angeles field offices. Assistant U.S. Attorney Lynn Crum and Special Assistant United States Attorney Nicholas Cohenmeyer of the Navy JAG Corps are prosecuting the case on behalf of the government.

The indictment’s allegations remain accusations, and each defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. The charges will proceed through the federal judicial process where defendants will have the opportunity to respond.
