The Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off Sunday in Tampa with both teams trying to avoid falling to 0-2 after rough season openers.
Tampa Bay enters as an 8.5-point favorite. Cleveland’s offense struggled in Week 1, while the Buccaneers showed more offensive potential despite four costly fumbles in their opening game.
Baker Mayfield will face his former team for the first time since the Browns drafted him No. 1 overall in 2018 and parted ways after the 2021 season. Against Cincinnati, Mayfield completed 23 of 28 passes for 216 yards and ran for a touchdown, though he did not throw a passing touchdown.
Tampa Bay’s pass rush will look to improve after Cincinnati’s Joe Burrow was the least-pressured quarterback in the league during Week 1. Cleveland, meanwhile, needs quarterback Deshaun Watson to push the ball further downfield than he did in the opener.
