BYU tight end Walker Lyons caught the game-winning touchdown Saturday as the Cougars upset then-No. 2 Notre Dame, and his girlfriend, “Dancing with the Stars” professional Rylee Arnold, was there in Provo, Utah to see it.
Lyons finished the game with five catches for 49 yards, including the touchdown that put BYU ahead for good. Arnold celebrated the win with him on the field.
From there, Arnold traveled to Los Angeles, California, where she walked the red carpet for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She posted a message online calling herself “the proudest girlfriend ever!!!” after trading a BYU hooded sweatshirt for a red-carpet dress.
Arnold, 21, is a professional dancer on “Dancing with the Stars,” where she is currently partnered with celebrity contestant Connor Wood in season 35. She still has performances ahead in the competition.
BYU, meanwhile, will look to keep its season going as it continues its push toward a possible spot in the College Football Playoff.
