Olehenriksen has released a new shade in its Pout Preserve lip treatment line called Scandi Candy, a pink-tinted peptide lip balm priced at $24.
The product is designed to combine a glossy, cushiony finish with skincare-style benefits. According to the brand, it is formulated to hydrate lips, smooth their surface and improve the appearance of fullness over time, with hydration said to last up to eight hours.
The formula includes peptides intended to support the look of fuller, smoother lips, along with kokum butter and mango seed butter to condition the lip area. Scandi Candy applies as a sheer pink tint with a high-shine finish and can be worn alone or layered over lip liner.
Olehenriksen points to a four-week clinical study of 39 participants as support for its claims, reporting that lips appeared clinically fuller after just one week of use. The company notes that individual results may vary.
Scandi Candy joins the existing Pout Preserve range and is positioned as an everyday option, light enough for reapplication throughout the day whether worn with full makeup or on its own.
The review of the product was published by the New York Post, written by commerce journalist Victoria McDonnell, who tests beauty products for the outlet’s shopping coverage.
