Rays Face Elimination at Tropicana Field as World Series Shifts to Game 4

The Tampa Bay Rays face elimination Tuesday night at Tropicana Field as the World Series continues against the Milwaukee Brewers, who can clinch their first championship in franchise history with one more win.

Milwaukee took Game 3 on Monday by a lopsided 10-1 score, pushing the Rays into a 3-0 series hole. No team in World Series history has ever come back from that deficit, making Tuesday’s game a true must-win for Tampa Bay.

The Rays entered the postseason as long shots, opening the preseason at 80-to-1 odds to win it all. They’ve reached that underdog status again after Milwaukee’s young pitchers, Jacob Misiorowski and Logan Henderson, shut them down early in the series, with the Brewers’ bats taking over in Game 3 on the road.

Tropicana Field drew a buzzing crowd Monday night, and the stadium is expected to be just as charged for Tuesday’s game as Tampa Bay tries to keep its season alive.

Prediction Market Promo Tied to the Series

Alongside the on-field action, the prediction market platform Kalshi is running a promotion for traders during the World Series. New users who sign up and enter the code NYPMAX55, verify their account, and place $25 in trades can qualify for a bonus of up to $55.

Kalshi lets users trade contracts on outcomes across sports, including football, international soccer, women’s playoff basketball and the ongoing World Series. The platform operates in most states and territories, including Florida, but is not available in Arizona, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Ohio or Washington.

The offer is limited to new users, requires participants to be 18 or older, and is subject to terms and conditions at kalshi.com/tc/55. Kalshi notes that event contract trading carries significant risk and may not be appropriate for everyone, and advises users to weigh their own financial circumstances before participating.

For now, all eyes in Tampa Bay are on whether the Rays can force a Game 5, or whether Milwaukee will celebrate its first title on Florida soil Tuesday night.
