Police investigators were back at the Chester, New Jersey home where Brooke Hanlon was found stabbed to death nearly five months ago, with officers spotted at the Pottersville Road property on Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Neighbors told Fox News Digital that at least 15 law-enforcement vehicles descended on the residence Wednesday and remained on scene until around 11 p.m. Hanlon’s husband, Conor Hanlon, was seen speaking with police that afternoon, neighbors said. On Thursday, investigators were observed at the property carrying brown bags.
The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office told Fox News Digital it had no updates to share on the investigation. No arrests have been made in the case, and Conor Hanlon has denied any involvement in his wife’s death.

What the Autopsy Found
The renewed police activity comes weeks after officials released Hanlon’s autopsy, which ruled her death a homicide caused by “sharp force injuries.” The finding confirmed what the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office had already disclosed back in June.
A 911 call obtained by Fox News Digital shows that Conor Hanlon was the one who discovered his wife unresponsive. As a 911 operator walked him through CPR instructions, he told the dispatcher, “There’s a laceration” on her body.
“I just found my wife (inaudible) CPR, I need CPR instructions,” Conor Hanlon told the 911 operator. “I need you here. I need you here immediately.”
Officials have not said whether investigators recovered a murder weapon.
A Home He Still Returns To
Neighbors told Fox News Digital that in the months since his wife’s death, Conor Hanlon has frequently returned to the Chester home and spent nights there. Before that, he had reportedly been splitting his time between Chester and the Boston area, where his family is from.
In an earlier statement to Fox News Digital, Brooke Hanlon’s family said, “We have full and unwavering confidence in the investigative efforts of law enforcement.”
