Hold Peggy Flanagan Accountable For Children Harmed By Democrats

Peggy Flanagan Wants to Make Kids Whole. She Can Start With Kids Harmed by Democrat Policies.

I don’t take Democrats’ claims about protecting children at face value, because their record shows policies that hurt kids and families. This piece pushes back on that narrative, names specific failures, and points to real victims who deserve justice. It calls out leaders who prioritize ideology over safety and asks tough questions about consequences. The tone is direct and unapologetic.

Democrats talk a lot about compassion for children while promoting policies that leave lasting damage. Abortion ends millions of lives every year under labels like choice and reproductive health, and the aftermath often leaves women emotionally scarred. Whatever euphemism the Left uses, the result is the same: a dead child and a traumatized woman. That contradiction matters when judging who really cares about kids.

The same party that defends abortion also pushes radical gender policies for minors, handing out puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones as if permanent medical interventions are trivial. Parents and doctors are often sidelined while ideology takes over medical decisions. When kids detransition or regret procedures, the response is to wash hands and blame the individual instead of admitting a policy failure.

The Left’s instinct is to shrug and say people made choices and must live with them, even when those people were children. That moral failure is part of why this debate burns so hot. Accountability should come before slogans when young lives are at stake.

“You must like dead children,” they sneer at me on social media, when I point out that gun rights and safety are not subject to emotional demands. I say I want kids alive and protected, and I support arming teachers and school staff so they can stop violent attackers quickly. Arming trained adults is about giving schools a fighting chance when monsters attack.

I backed Donald Trump because I believe removing dangerous illegal immigrants protects kids from criminals who cross our borders. That stance comes from concrete cases, not fearmongering. When leaders tolerate open borders, the risks to communities rise and victims pay the price.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz pardoned a man from Laos who had sexually abused a girl beginning at age 10, a decision he defended even after Secretary of State Marco Rubio had the man deported. Walz even said he didn’t see how deporting the man made Minnesota safer and argued we shouldn’t judge that illegal alien on his ‘worst day.’ His lieutenant governor, Peggy Flanagan, urged people to ‘put your bodies on the line’ to shield illegal aliens, rhetoric that fueled confrontations and real harm.

Peggy Flanagan then lamented that a little girl couldn’t go on a field trip because of Operation Metro Surge, suggesting a missed excursion was the main tragedy.

Children deserve to be made whole, but too many have been lost or ruined by bad policy. Hallie Helgeson and Brady Heiling were 18 and 19 when they were killed in Dane County, WI, by an illegal alien drunk driver with a long history of traffic violations. Their families will never get them back.

Jocelyn Nungaray was 12 when she was raped and strangled to death by two illegal immigrants, a brutality no parent should endure. In 2021 a 13-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped in New York City, and five illegal aliens were arrested for kidnapping and trying to traffic a 14-year-old girl in Indiana. These are not abstract statistics, they are human lives destroyed.

In May of this year two-week-old Mateo Gonzalez was murdered along with his mother and grandmother by Joaquin Escoto, another illegal alien; Mateo’s four-year-old sibling survived. Dereon Robins and Mikhail-Lee Smith, aged 12 and nine, were killed in South Carolina when an illegal alien driving drunk hit them as they rode bikes on the sidewalk.

Arya Cruz Asencio was eight when she died and her father lost a leg after a crash with an illegal alien near Julian, California. Samuel Antonio Maldonado-Erazo, from Honduras, allegedly abused and murdered his three-year-old nephew, leaving the child with head trauma, broken bones, and burns. The scale and brutality of these cases demand a response.

In Texas seven-year-old Ivory Smith died just before Christmas in 2024, killed by a Venezuelan illegal alien who was driving drunk and ran a red light into her family’s car. Calli Toller was six when she was killed on July 3 in North Carolina by Jaime Santiago Corona. In Maryland Rachel Morin was raped and murdered while out for a jog, leaving five children without a mother.

Every one of these tragedies was preventable with serious immigration enforcement, border security, and decisive deportations. When politicians refuse to act, victims and their families pay the price and communities lose trust in leaders who prioritize politics over safety.

On top of that, Democrats shut down schools for months during COVID, forcing masks and remote learning that disproportionately harmed Black children and students with special needs. Those kids lost learning time that many will never recover, and unions and political theater too often came before classroom needs. These are policy choices with real human costs.

There are countless children who deserve justice, and many cannot be made whole because they are gone. Other kids will never regain lost learning and normal childhood experiences. Peggy Flanagan frets about a missed field trip; many families mourn sons and daughters who will never return.

Deport them all.
