Milania Giudice, a sophomore at the University of Tampa, posted a birthday tribute to her sister Gabriella Giudice on Instagram Sunday, months after Gabriella called 911 on her during a domestic dispute at their mother’s New Jersey home.
“You really are the best sister I could ever ask for,” Milania, 20, wrote alongside throwback photos marking Gabriella’s 22nd birthday. “You’re genuinely one of the smartest people I know, and I’m so proud of the person you are. I’ve put you through a lot over the years, and I know I haven’t always made being my sister easy, but you’ve always been there for me, accepted me, and loved me through everything.”
“Time really flies. I love you so much, and I’m so lucky to have you as my sister,” Milania added.
Their mother, Teresa Giudice, 54, commented on the post, writing, “Happy Birthday @gabriella.giudice Love you.”
The tribute comes after a difficult year for Milania. On May 14, Gabriella called 911 following an incident at their mother’s New Jersey home. According to a police report, Milania was “throwing food [and] candles” before she was arrested on allegations that she struck an unnamed victim, identified as L.R., in the head. Milania has pleaded not guilty and enrolled in anger management classes.
Addressing the arrest on TikTok in June, she said, “It is what it is, s–t happens in life and you gotta learn from it. Just become a better person and talk about it.”
Last month, Milania got into a heated argument with Teresa and her sister Gia Giudice, 25, at Tampa International Airport in Hillsborough County, Florida. Police were reportedly alerted when “multiple females said they needed police ASAP.” According to a police report obtained by Page Six, officers were told Milania had just been released from the hospital and was “having suicidal thoughts.”
Days later, Teresa wrote on her Instagram Stories that Milania was going through an “extremely vulnerable time in her life” following the deaths of two people close to her. Milania’s best friend, Victoria Zardoya, died in July from a fall, and her great-grandmother died two months later, shortly before her 99th birthday.
In a Sept. 24 statement to Page Six, Milania’s manager said she was “under the care of professionals … as she navigates an incredibly difficult time in her life.”
Teresa shares Milania, Gabriella, Gia and Audriana Giudice, 17, with her ex-husband, Joe Giudice. The “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum remarried Luis Ruelas in 2022.
