The House Judiciary Committee passed a resolution on Wednesday to find Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress.
In a party-line vote of 23-14, the Committee approved the resolution due to Hunter Biden’s refusal to comply with a subpoena and testify during a closed-door deposition.
The resolution will now be brought before the entire House of Representatives for a vote on whether or not to hold Hunter Biden in contempt.

Congressional Republicans had previously issued a subpoena to Hunter Biden, seeking his testimony in a private session regarding allegations of influence-peddling and family corruption.
In a recent statement, Hunter Biden expressed his willingness to testify but insisted on doing so in a public hearing.
Surprising everyone, Hunter made an unexpected appearance at Capitol Hill as lawmakers gathered for a hearing leading up to the vote on holding him in contempt.
In a display of arrogance, he boldly entered the room and defiantly locked eyes with the legislators.
Congresswoman Nancy Mace on Wednesday called for Hunter Biden to be arrested on the spot.
“I think that Hunter Biden should be arrested right here, right now and go straight to jail,” Rep. Mace said.
Hunter stormed out of the congressional hearing immediately when GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene attempted to question him.
