Candace Owens Meets Erika Kirk, Defuses Charlie Kirk Murder Feud

Erika Kirk and Candace Owens met in person after months of public accusations and heated online back-and-forth, and both women say the conversation was productive as they put public attacks on hold and traded information face to face.

The meeting between Erika Kirk and Candace Owens landed after weeks of public theory-making and accusations tied to the death of Charlie Kirk. Owens repeatedly pushed a series of speculative claims about that tragedy, and the fallout pushed the two into a very public feud that tested conservative circles.

After Charlie Kirk’s death, Owens suggested at various times that the assassination was orchestrated by President Trump, Turning Point USA officials, Israel, Jewish actors, and even Erika Kirk herself. Those suggestions stirred anger, confusion, and calls for accountability inside the movement, and they set the stage for a direct confrontation between the widow and a prominent conservative commentator.

Erika announced on social media that she and Owens would meet in private to try to resolve matters and to pause the public drama. She made clear they agreed to halt public discussions, livestreams, and tweets until after the face-to-face conversation.

Candace Owens and I are meeting for a private, in-person discussion on Monday, December 15. @RealCandaceO and I have agreed that public discussions, livestreams, and tweets are on hold until after this meeting. I look forward to a productive conversation. Thank you.

On Monday the meeting happened, and both women described a lengthy, unusually frank exchange. That surprised some onlookers who expected more public sparring instead of an extended sit-down to compare notes and motives.

Erika posted that they “Had a very productive conversation with @RealCandaceO. More to come from both of us. Looking forward to AmFest this week. Time to get back to work.” The post signaled a pause in the online vitriol and suggested an attempt to redirect energy toward events and organization work.

Owens posted a detailed account as well, emphasizing the time spent and the substance they covered. Her words suggested the meeting was not a quick PR stunt but a substantive exchange of information and perspectives.

Erika and I had an extremely productive 4 1/2 hour meeting that I think we both feel should have taken place a lot earlier than it did. We agreed much more than I had anticipated. Of course, we also disagreed on various points and people as well. Most importantly, we were able to share intel and clarify intent. I will of course have a full rundown for you all tomorrow as I am currently exhausted, but I wanted to quickly let you guys know that absolutely nothing was held back and the immediate result was that tensions were thawed.

The two accounts line up around several key details: a long conversation, a willingness to exchange information, and a mutual decision to cool public hostilities for the moment. That change of tone is notable given how quickly online accusations had escalated into personal attacks that fragmented allies.

What happens next will be watched closely by people who follow conservative media and movement politics, since this episode underlines how internal disputes can spill into the public square. Whether this meeting becomes a durable reset or a temporary de-escalation depends on how both women and their networks act in the days and weeks ahead.

For now, both parties say they put a pause on public commentary, and they reported a clearer understanding of each other’s concerns by the end of the talk. The moment also highlights the limits of social media as a forum for resolving complicated, emotional disputes inside any political or activist community.
