Actor Keegan Allen Robbed at Gunpoint Outside West Hollywood Grocery Store

Actor Keegan Allen, known for playing Toby Cavanaugh on “Pretty Little Liars,” says he was robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint Thursday night outside the Laurel Supply grocery store in West Hollywood.

Allen, 37, said two masked men attacked him in the store’s parking lot as he loaded items into his truck. One suspect struck him repeatedly in the head with a gun while the other held him at knifepoint, according to Allen and security footage of the incident.

“These two dudes hit me in the head and pointed a gun at me with a knife and then took off,” Allen said on Instagram shortly after the attack. “They had masks on and took my watch. They took my watch. Dammit.”

The footage shows the men fleeing after taking only Allen’s watch; he was allowed to keep a bracelet and a ring. Allen posted images showing blood on his arm.

Allen said he went to the hospital afterward and believes he has a concussion, writing that he is “def concussed,” though he said he expects to be “OK.”

In follow-up comments, Allen pointed to the city’s security camera network, referencing Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

“Let’s hope all these flock cameras that (Karen Bass), (Gavin Newsom) and everyone thinks will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals. God bless,” Allen wrote.

West Hollywood currently has 39 Flock Safety license plate readers and six live-video cameras installed, out of 54 approved citywide, according to a city report. The system is intended to help police identify suspects and solve crimes, though the cameras have also drawn criticism over concerns that surveillance data could be shared with federal immigration authorities.

Page Six, which first reported the attack, said it had reached out to Allen’s representative and the LAPD for comment.

Allen is best known for his role as Toby Cavanaugh on “Pretty Little Liars” from 2010 to 2017 and as Liam Walker on “Walker” from 2021 to 2024. He most recently appeared in an episode of “The Rookie” this year.
