Fox Corporation is partnering with U.S.VETS for the sixth consecutive year on the “Make Camo Your Cause” campaign, an initiative aimed at ending veteran homelessness in the United States ahead of Veterans Day on Nov. 11.
As part of the campaign, Fox News Channel hosts and anchors will wear camouflage to show support for veterans and raise awareness and funds for U.S.VETS’ mission. Viewers are invited to purchase Fox News-branded camo merchandise, including hats, T-shirts, mugs and duffel bags, from an online store and wear the items to show their own support.
Fox is the founding media sponsor of the campaign, which organizers say has grown over the past five years to generate significant donations to U.S.VETS and build greater public awareness of veteran homelessness.
Proceeds from merchandise sales go toward helping veterans and their families transition to civilian life through housing assistance, counseling, career development and other support services.
The campaign will be featured in on-screen graphics during Fox News broadcasts and promoted across the network’s social media platforms and Fox News Digital.
U.S.VETS, founded in 1993, describes itself as the largest nonprofit organization working directly to address veteran homelessness in the country. It offers housing, counseling, supportive services and career programs designed to help veterans rebuild their lives.
