‘Landman’ Season 3 Begins Filming in Fort Worth

Production on the third season of the Paramount+ drama “Landman” is underway in Fort Worth, with filming having started earlier this month, according to the show’s production update.

The series, which stars Billy Bob Thornton as oil executive Tommy, follows workers and executives in the Texas oil industry. Its second season finale aired January 18, 2026, on Paramount+, and the show was renewed for a third season after strong viewership.

No release date has been set yet, but with production expected to continue through early 2027, new episodes are likely to arrive sometime in mid-to-late 2027.

Several cast members are being elevated to series regulars for the new season, including Colm Feore (Nathan), Mustafa Speaks (Boss), Bobbi Salvor Menuez (Paigyn Meester) and Francesca Xuereb (Cheyenne). “Lioness” actor Michael Kelly is also joining the cast, playing what the show describes as a “titan of industry who leads the largest oil management firm in the world.”

Both prior seasons of “Landman” are currently streaming on Paramount+, which offers an ad-supported Essential plan for $8.99 a month and an ad-free Premium plan, which includes Showtime titles and live CBS, for $13.99 a month.
