First Lady Melania Trump visited the New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street in Lower Manhattan on Wednesday morning to ring the opening bell and announce a new female-led business initiative called Imperia.
Mrs. Trump was joined on the exchange floor by NYSE Group President Lynn Martin and Advanced Micro Devices President and CEO Lisa Su for the bell-ringing ceremony. She also signed the exchange’s guest book during the visit.
For the occasion, Mrs. Trump wore a dark navy double-breasted pinstripe wool blazer and matching pencil midi skirt from Givenchy, paired with a white cotton shirt and black calf leather pointed-toe pumps from Manolo Blahnik. The blazer retails for $3,550, the skirt for $1,700 and the shoes for $895.
The visit marked the public introduction of Imperia, the latest in a series of initiatives associated with the First Lady focused on supporting women in business.
